Alexander McQueen
I'm a little late but finally checked out Alexander McQueen's fall/winter 08/09 runway show. His shows are so amazing. It's a little cooky and macabre. It totally creeps me out. I love it.
PS. Remember McQueen 2005? Let's reminisce. :]
I was blown away when I first saw this on the Style network.

Art Style: Cubello & Orbient
Nintendo convinced me to turn off my new Xbox 360 after downloading my first two WiiWare titles last night, Art Style: Cubello and Art Style: Orbient. They snuck both titles out under the radar, without any previous announcement. I'm posting about them because I very much welcome this sense of design and minimalism in gaming. Both of the games are addicting and relaxing, something I can appreciate after stressing out at work all day. I wish I were playing them right now.

Rebecca Sugar
Cartoon Brew put me onto this great (also somewhat depressing) comic called "Don't Cry For Me, I'm Already Dead" by an artist named Rebecca Sugar. It's about quoting The Simpsons. She's got a lot of other great work on her comic site and Livejournal. Check out some animation work she's done below.

Animal Collective - Water Curses
A guy named Russel, who keeps a blog named "Music to Video", created this music video for an Animal Collective song in order to teach himself Flash CS3. The video is composed of one layer of Flash and one layer of powdered charcoal. Pretty interesting results!

BakeManiaCakes.com
I was at Barnes and Nobles today looking through this month's Step Magazine and it featured some good websites. One in particular caught my eye. It's for BakeManiaCakes.com AND! They're located in Norfolk, Virginia! :) Next time, I'm going to try to seek this place out

Mamurasa: The Demon Blade
Another nerd moment... I'm very excited for this title being released on the Nintendo Wii, Mamurasa: The Demon Blade. Some of the character designs are insane.

Miri and Zack Make a Porno movie poster
Seth Rogan is starring in the film Miri and Zack Make a Porno. It's about a couple that desperately needs money and eventually end up making a porno... perhaps. But I really like the poster. It's cute. HOWEVER. It's poster number TWO. The original one (view here) was banned in the U.S. because it was thought to be a little raunchy. I still liked the revised version, but then again... I'm a girl.

Nintendo DSi
More like iDS, am I right? Nintendo announced the new DS model last night, containing 2 cameras, internal memory, improved internet capabilities, mp3 playback... I want one. To bad Nintendo's not like Apple, releasing the product as soon as it's announced.

Dance Floor Dale
A video for Flying Lotus' "Parisian Goldfish" track, created by Eric Wareheim of Tim & Eric on Adult Swim. It's kind of graphic and disturbing, so they provided an image to link to the video's page. I messaged Flying Lotus about how great the video was, and his reply was "hehehehe". So you know it's good.
