Lauren Albert
Lauren Albert is an artist I've been following on DeviantART for a while now. I just discovered her website a few minutes ago. It's crazy. I enjoy her surreal, odd, sometimes disturbing work.

Skim
Skim is a great graphic novel written by Mariko Tamaki, illustrated by Jillian Tamaki. Jillian's an artist I've been following a lot lately, so I was happy to come across their book at the Freer Gallery at the Smithsonian. It's a story about a teenage Wiccan girl. Doesn't seem like something I'd normally read, but whatever! The artwork is amazing. Amazon.com has it at a discounted price.

WWII Posters
A collection of hi-res WWII posters. I love how most of these focus on making you feel bad for not doing something. An empty seat in your car is a seat for Hitler!

Dragon Ball Z: The Movie
I was a giant DBZ fan back in the day. I cannot wait to see this horrible, horrible live-action adaptation. It will be great, in a horrible way. The trailer should be released soon.

The first life form to survive naked in space. I think they look cool. I haven't really figured out what they are, though.

Red Hot Chili Peppers- Otherside
Have you ever watched the German film, Das Cabinet des Dr. Calagari (The Cabinet of Dr. Calagari)? It's first full length horror film. Directed by Robert Wiene and release in 1921. The Red Hot Chili Peppers song Otherside's music video was clearly influenced by the movie.
