Ira Glass on "This is American Life"
Ira Glass is talking about how great taste and practice is what gets creative people to the top. Everyone goes through early periods where they create something with good intentions and a good idea... but while you're making it... you know it sucks because- you have good taste. He's saying stick to it and practice and it'll help you get to the place where you actually approve of your own work and makes you a better artists/designer/producer.

Buggy Rollin
28 year old Jean-Yves Blondeau invented Buddy Rollin. Regular In-Line skates, and some other wheels strategically placed on certain places on the body suit like elbows, back, knees, etc that allows you to roll and move in virtually any position.

VCU recording in 1977 by Glen Hamm
I found this floating around youtube. It's an old recording of Virginia Commonwealth University Campus in 1977 by Glen Hamm. (The college where Teddy and I both went to.) It's kind of haunting but really serene. It looks so much cleaner and peaceful than it does now. lol
If you know of VCU, there used to be a street in front of Cabell Library in between Shafer. It's a huge brick path now! So bizarre! And W. Grace street looked a lot better. It's like something out of the movie, Now and Then.

Paul Spooner
Paul Spooner is an artist that makes mechanically animated figures, or "automatons". I had a chance to see his work in person at the Visionary Arts Museum in Baltimore, Maryland. It's amazing to see in-person.

Katamari Ball
I love Katamari and this young lady has gutted a PS controller to connect to an actual little ball that you can roll as a controller for the game. I need it.
